Just dance!

I'm watching Dancing with the Stars right now.

I love this show so very much.

The music, the dances, the costumes, the shiny, the glitter, the beat-beat-beat of the Latin music, the hips swaying, the quick footwork, the emotion.

This show brings me so much joy.

Dancing brings me so much joy.

Maybe this is why I like Zumba so much- it's like a dance party of the gym floor.

I miss the yesteryear's of going to a salsa club and dancing the night away, weekend after weekend after weekend. Anthony and I have talked about talking lessons together but we've never made the time to do it.  There are always so many other things competing for our time and attention.

I want to make time to learn how to partner dance with my husband.

I want to feel the beat again.

I want to dance until I'm one hot sweaty mess.

I want to wear pretty clothes and costumes and shoes and make-up.

I wonder if we could learn to partner together and not work against one another?!!!!

Could we ever get good enough to compete?!!!!  That actually makes me giggle typing that.

We both have rhythm for the most part and the times we do dance (like, at weddings!), we have a great time.  I am lucky that I have a husband who likes to dance and likes to get the crowd hopping- we're both extroverts and like to have a good time on the dance floor.

We just have to make the time to have a good time.

Does that even make sense?

I think I am moving into rambling territory now.

Maybe it's time that I don't wait any longer and just dance- whether it's at home, in the car, while running, or GASP- whisk my honey away to a dance club and go for it.

Hmmmm........

of course that sentence makes perfect sense. Once you become a parent, you do have to make time to have a good time (sand kids). We're all SO good at the parent gig, it's the husband/wife gig we often leave for last (sadly).
Dancing sounds perfect! You should find the time and enjoy yourselves :)

I have always wanted to learn to dance. Probably not with my husband, though, because I think we would die laughing at each other.

I love to dance.....not in public, because my lack of rhythm is enormous....but in my house, I do it all the time.

I would like to try real dance lessons at least one, though.
