I must get a minimum of 6 hours of sleep per day and preferably 7 hours.
I must have a cup of very strong coffee within the first hour of being awake.
I must take off my PJ's and put on real clothes for the day.
I must do some sort of exercise because for me, exercise supplies my brain with the necessary endorphins to relax.
I must run a few times a week because once again, running is my emotional outlet. There is no question about it- when I don't exercise or run for several days in a row, I will and do end up having a craptastic day. I have to exercise, I have to get my heart pumping, I have to sweat. Exercising and running gives my brain the reminder that *hey you, you can handle anything thrown at you- just keep exercising so that you can be reminded of this*.
I must take my vitamins and probiotics. What do I take, you ask? Calcium and Magnesium (for strong bones and mental health- that's an entirely separate post of it's own), Glucosamine (for healthy joints and flexibility), and Probiotics (to keep my insides happy). I'm thinking of adding in Vitamin D, too.
I must have a plan for the day.
I must give and receive lots of hugs and kisses to/from my kids.
I must get out of the house and interact with other adults.
I must have a clean kitchen when I go to bed. I know, I'm a weirdo.
What about you? Are there certain things that you do to ensure a good day?

I am definitely with you on needing to run a few days a week, otherwise I go crazy!
sleep is a must, as is coffee.
a clean kitchen makes a world of difference, but i admit to going to bed plenty often with it dirty.
Please come keep my kitchen clean!
I definitely need running. It's going to make recovery time tough.
I usually have better days when I get dressed and put makeup on and am not "wallowing". And yeah, exercise for sure.
Oh and chocolate is always good... ;)
Actually, I'm with you on every single one of those. Except the running. I'm weird.
