Menu Plan Your Butt Off (10/24)

I don't do it every week but the weeks I do menu plan, I am SO glad I did because it makes me pull out recipes that I've bookmarked or pinned on Pinterest and actually MAKE THEM.  I know, shocking!  I try to keep it healthy as possible but sometimes it's not possible- ha ha.

The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans are the ones making inspiring me to menu plan my butt off.

Sunday 10/23- spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, salad

Monday 10/24- honey garlic chicken (slow cooker), my own version of lo mein made with spaghetti noodles and sauteed broccoli, red bell pepper, onion, mushroom, and sauce from the chicken (Update: So how was it, you wonder?  It was freakin' awesome!  I shredded the chicken and then mixed it all together -didn't need all the sauce- and it was delicious, almost like an Asian Chicken Stir-Fry Spaghetti Fusion. The kids gobbled up two plates each, leaving NOT enough for leftovers tomorrow night.  This was definitely a success!).

Tuesday 10/25- leftovers

Wednesday 10/26- cheese ravioli with pumpkin alfredo sauce, garlic bread, salad

Thursday 10/27- hearty beef stew (slow cooker), cornbread

Friday 10/28- out to eat, baby!

Saturday 10/29- Haunted Halloween Chili Party

Other yummy recipes that I hope to whip up this week:
Do you see a theme here?  I hope my family likes pumpkin : ).  Happy eating!!!!
