Under Contract

After 2.5 weeks on the market, our beautiful, well-loved home has been sold, for almost asking price.

We are grateful beyond belief but also under a great amount of stress, for a variety of reasons, of which my IRL friends have heard about already and of which I will blog about soon enough here, after my stomach unclenches from said stress.

Most of it is good stress (as in O-M-G, we have to pack our shit FAST and find a place to live and get moving on the new home design blah blah blah) and some of it is not so good stress (Great-Grandma has suddenly fallen very ill and there is so much uncertainty surrounding that).

For now, I want to revel in the fact that I don't have to keep my house spic and span any more.

I want to enjoy the process of building our dream house from the ground up.  I want to embrace the excitement of THAT, because folks, out of all that is going on, the most fun part is cutting out pictures from home magazines and architecture magazines of the things that we love and like and want in our new-to-be-built-to-our-specifications home.

It almost makes up for the stress : ).

((hugs)) my friend - take a few deep breaths and a few shots of your favorite adult bev if you need it. So sorry about GGma, too. Prayers on all fronts.
