Official News

1.  My kids have been out of school since last Thursday.  I am not sure who is more ready for them to go back to school tomorrow- me OR them.

2.  My middle child is turning 5 at the end of the month.  How the hell did that happen?

3.  We bought a 1.1 acre piece of land 32 miles from here.  It's a done deal.  The grand plan is to build a house for us and a "casita" for my MIL and G-MIL to to share, on the same property.

4.  We have put our house on the market as of tonight.  The thought of keeping my house clean and uncluttered until it sells makes me want to vomit.

5.  I got IT- IT being the Zooma Austin Ambassador position.  I am one of five Austin ambassadors.  I will be co-leading Saturday training runs.  This should be interesting and fun as I am so accustomed to running by myself.  If I try to run and talk at the same time, I am liable to trip over myself or run out of breathe or both at the same time.  I have also designated myself as the Fun-Time ambassador for no other reason than I like to have fun.  So, um, anyone interested in running a 5K or half marathon on April 16th with me?  You don't have to live in Austin to run the race here- you can live anywhere, really.  Tiffany?  Christy?  Chris?  Maria?  Lauren?  Stephanie?  Lavonda?  Houston friends?  Dallas friends?  Facebook friends?  Join me that weekend- I promise that we will have fun!!!!

6.  I spent the last few days hanging out with Christy.  We shared some great memories and our kids were awesome together, as always.  Her little Mia is sweet on my Sam and it was so darn cute to watch.

7.  The hubs and I are looking to do something fun and not too expensive over Spring Break with the kids.  Actually, I would love to do something with just him without the kids but we're both too chicken to ask the grandmas to watch them, lol.  So yeah, a family something to do for a few days.  Any ideas?

8.  Along the same lines, we are planning a family vacation this Summer.  At first, we were thinking Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park, but now we are also considering a beach vacation or really, anything that we don't have to buy 5 planes tickets and rent a minivan.  But then again, we're really open to anywhere.  A few weeks ago we knew exactly what we were doing for vacation and now, not so much.  HELP!

9.  My sister is getting married in Tucson, Arizona at the beginning of April.  The plan is for me and Sophie to go (cuz OMFG, the whole 5 plane tickets for a weekend trip is way too expensive!).  I am looking forward to a trip with my daughter- we will have so much fun.

10.  Modern Family is the best show E-V-E-R.  Last year's Valentine's Day episode was one of the best, however, I think tonight's show might top it.  I'll let you know.
