I had a sobering thought last night
My children have two volumes
Loud
and
Asleep
Silence does not exist in our house
when they are awake
However, silence does exist
when I am on out on the trail
my feet hitting the pavement
the only sound
my beating heart
Silence is precious
to this mama of three
It is a huge part of why I enjoy
this thing called running
so much

It's one of the reasons I love running, too. And I don't even have children of my own...
so glad you have found a kinda of therapy that is more beneficial to you then you thought it would be.

I'm hoping that the C25K will give me the same feeling. Glad you can find some quiet and peace when you are out there. As a mother of four, I remember the loud and louder all too well. XOXO
