2. Sam starts with Speech School tomorrow. He is all ready to get going with his same teacher from last year, Ms. Willow.
3. Both Sam and Little Dude will be starting Mother's Day Out on Thursday. I am estatic over this. Why? Because for the first time in two years, I will have dedicated time for me- squeeeee!!!!! Plus, do any of you remember how HARD life can be with a toddler? I love him to pieces and he makes my heart melt, BUT, OMFG, he is quite the handful right now.
4. The kids have been getting creative with their Summertime play.
5. My right hip joint is achey and sore. Not from running, but from having to lift Little Dude. He's 28+ lbs of love and solidly-packed. I think he is built like a linebacker.
6. Only 11 more days before me and the hubby jet-set to Columbus, Ohio for my friend's wedding, without the kids. Can you hear me screaming with delight from where you are? The last time we went anywhere alone was in February 2008 and I was 10 weeks pregnant with Little Dude.....way too long ago! I am in the wedding and get to wear a pretty candy apple red bridesmaid dress with these pretty shoes. It should be interesting to watch me walk down the aisle in these shoes as well as dance at the reception (Anthony and I totally like to cut it up on the dance floor at weddings!). My normal foot attire are my good ole running shoes.
7. I'm registered to attend Fitbloggin' next year. It's being held in Baltimore in May. Are you going?
8. I'm also officially registered for the San Antonio Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon in November. My longest training run so far was this past weekend, 3.5 miles.
9. In other travel-related news, in the next year, our family will be going to Kansas to visit the Reyes Family, going to Tucson Arizona for my sister's wedding, AND according to my delightful husband, going to Mexico for a family vacation (see below for previous happy moments in Mexico). We have been busy busy busy and in planning mode over the past week.
10. Last but not least, I have finally started scrapbooking again. I am so behind that it's not even funny. Even though I still have many projects that aren't done yet, I went ahead and started a new album, one that is close to my heart at the current time. It's all about my running journey. Here are a few pages that I have done.
How's that for random?! Do you have any "random" that you would like to share with me? Please do and if you got nothing, then at least give me a shout out and let me know you are there reading/lurking/wishing you were me- HA!!!

I can't wait to see you again at Fitbloggin'! I love vacationing in Mexico. Any idea where you guys are going yet? Looking at your previous pics, it looks like you were at Cabo. I really love Cabo and Mazatlan both. I've also been to Rosarita Beach, Ensenada, and Puerto Vallarta. I would love to visit some of the central and eastern cities, but the west coast is just so much more convenient for me given I'm in California.
Hey Mel! We love Cabo and have been 4 times, none of those times with kids. I've also been to Rosarita Beach, Cozumel, Cancun and Acapulco....but I love Cabo best. We haven't decided yet where we will be going- it will depend on whether it is just our family of five or if any of Anthony's extended family joins us.
Those shoes are gorgeous! Must post pictures of you wearing them and pretty red dress and pretty you, mkay?
Mother's Day Out sounds amazing. How did you find out about something like that? I need to see if there's anything similar in my area.
And I will FINALLY meet you at Fitbloggin - if not before at Disney! YAY!!!!
Random: My kids are driving me FUCKING INSANE TODAY. I can make it 'til Thursday, I can make it 'til Thursday...
I love those shoes. What are they and wear can I get some?
I spy ME in your scrapbook! Yay!
Enjoy your Thursdays all to yourself.
Oh yeah, I've only been to Mexico once... Puerta Vallarta. I was 17 and had just graduated high school. It was a blast.
The shoes are by Nina and I want to make out with them.
The two boys will have Mother's Day Out TWO days a week- they just happen to start school on a Thursday. Happy happy joy joy!!!!
Love that you are getting away for some fun adult time. It's so needed. Also? So jealous of Fitbloggin. There is a remote chance it might happen, but I'm not holding my breath. And I'm totally looking forward to my youngest starting pre-K 5 days a week. Luckily she's looking forward to it too. I just wish it was more than 3 hours, but beggers can't be chosers, right? But that will give me uninterrupted time 5 days a week with the older to get school work done. And you just reminded me that there's a scrapbook marathon weekend in September and I should definitely work on the half in SD that weekend.
Those shoes? Love.
those shoes are so pretty...you are gonna be a hawt momma in your red dress...enjoy your time alone together! oh lala!
so happy for your upcoming trips and vacays....well deserved!
DAMN YOU!
Now I wanna go to Mexico...
hey Mommy mo, was reading your personal blog and was so fascinated. Your life is so interesting but jut thinking that maybe on the next vacation you will want to come to Africa and specifically Uganda to enjoy the tropical weather and interesting cultures and fascinations in Africa. Its just a thought and you have time to work on it.
