Easter....Mo' Style

We had an awesome Easter, made even better by loading up the three kiddos and heading to the early Mass at church.  Normally, the two older kids have church school while we adults attend Mass, and we put the toddler in the nursery.  However, all of that stuff was cancelled and we were "fortunate" enough to bring them kicking and screaming to church with us.

Is it just my kids who misbehave at church?  Or scream the loudest?  Or fart the loudest?  Or say hilarious, inappropriate things at the quietest moments?  Does anyone else's kids do these things?  Fortunately, I have gotten used to this and I don't get as stressed out about it anymore.

Let's take today for instance.

As soon as we sat down in the pew, still with 10 minutes to go BEFORE the Mass started our first time ever to get to church before the priest walked in Sam yelps:  Mommy, is this gonna be quick?

My dad LOVED that and giggled with the rest of us.

Oh dear child, it was not going to be quick.  At all.

More shennigans occurred than I care to repeat, but you know that family, the one that makes so much noise in church, with the screeching toddler and the non-stop talking pre-schooler and the kindergartner who refuses to participate....THAT IS US.

Now, without further ado, I bring you the best, only the BEST, Easter pictures from today there were only three and I would venture to say that 1-2 of those aren't that great and even more importantly, I am in NONE of the pictures from today- TRAVESTY.

I love this picture,
just ignore the dirty wall and that huge fireplace on the right side.
Meet my husband, Anthony
also known as Rico Suave
Did you know that he is a running fool and will be running
the FULL marathon (26.2 miles) in San Diego
while I am running the half marathon (13.1 miles)?
His "training" runs are already longer than my race day run will be.
CRAZY.
Seriously, this is the BEST picture I got of my children today,
the one of the toddler fighting the pre-schooler for his Easter eggs.
I snapped about 20 shots in 30 seconds time,
but this was my favorite and cracks me up to no end.

Happy Easter, from the Mo' Family.

Love the pics!! Sometimes you've just gotta take whatever pics you can, no matter who is or isn't looking at you or behaving. It is rare that I get a pic of my 7 y/o smiling or even looking at the camera....it is just him, and I take the pic anyway. :)
Happy Easter.

I love that last picture because the preschooler has his eggs in a straw hat! So freakin' cute. And that awesome running husband of your? Totally suave. (btw, had you not mentioned the dirty wall? totally wouldn't have noticed, hooker. Relax!)

I had those kids too. Thankfully, they grew up to be nice, normal people. My oldest daughter is a marathon runner.

OH it is not just your family at all. Seriously, there is a reason why we sit in the back, my family is SO freaking loud. Kind of makes me crazy...ok, not kind of...REALLY makes me crazy!
Looks like you had a lovely day despite the shenanigans.

I would never even attempt to take my ONE child into a church, so kudos to you for surviving!

Definitely not just your kids...mine too. lol The elderly people always stare at us like we're committing a mortal sin!! That's why it's just a haul to take my kids to church.

And NO, you're kids are not the only ones who do that stuff in church. TRUST me. Happy (belated) Easter!!
