Virgin Hair

My new hairstylist, a referral from Minivan Mom, is awesome and wonderful and GREAT!
I have been blessed with GOOD hair, meaning I have to do very little to keep it healthy.
I wash it. I blow dry it. I rarely use any products on it.
I have never colored or highlighted it.
It is very thick. It grows fast.
I think I might have the thickest hair of anyone in the whole wide world.
I do believe I have enough hair for three people.
That is why I keep it short.
For realz, ya'll.
My stylist said I have "Virgin Hair" (I do).
She also said that it was about as healthy as it could be (She's right).
She asked if people compliment on my hair all the time (Yes).
She asked if I do much in the way of styling it (No).
She asked if I love my hair (I do).
She said it was nice to have a client who actually likes their own hair.
She asked if I have ever have been a hair model (No).
She said that the people who need hair models would love my hair (why thank you).
I totally have a Super-Ego about my hair now.
I think I love her.

This is what my hair looked like (front and back) when she first finished blow drying it, all nice and voluminous. It took her over 25 minutes to blow-dry my hair.

Did I mention that I have A LOT of hair?

Then, she took a flat iron to my hair and it looked this.

I LOVE IT.

I just might need to invest in a flat iron.

What do you think of the new 'do?
Which is better- flat OR voluminous?

Looks gorgeous (of course - Rose does fantastic work). So happy that you loved her and I hope you told her I sent you!

Get a CHI flatiron - as you know, I am NOT girlie or spend much time on my appearance, but it was a good investment.

I love both! I would wear it however you felt at the moment! And...I second the Chi flat iron. I absolutely mine! It is well worth the investment!

it looks super cute!

I always had hairstylists freaking out about my hair being "virgin hair"! lol. and when I did get some highlights in my hair, the stylist was so excited

Love your hair! Get the chi. It is the best hair product I have ever bought and I am a product whore.

When it says Joe, it means Bree. LOL

I laughed when I saw the title of your post because after coloring my hair for a while I let it go back to it's natural color and when I went to get highlights again my stylist called it "born again virgin hair!" HA!

You do have great hair, you remind me of my friend Julie. She has really thick hair too.

I think both looks are great and although I know nothing of the CHI, sounds like you need to get one! ; )

Very cute! I'm jealous of your thick hair. Mine is almost as fine as a baby's. I have a lot of it, but it doesn't look like it. I like the volume look, but it looked like it might take awhile, so maybe just for special nights out! I bought a flat iron recently, and it's nice, but I'm a 5-minutes-or-less-on-my-hair kinda girl...

it looks gorgeous!! i'm a huge fan of the layers in the back - love!!

i fifth? the chi recommendation. i have naturally curly hair and straighten it every single day (well, days that i actually shower and leave the house, lol) and it's the best money i have ever spent!

I 6th the chi recommendation. But go to Marshalls and tj max and look for one. That is where I got mine and instead of spending almost 200.00 for it I spend 49.00! By the way, I have the same hair cut but my hair is naturally curly so it is not as pretty as yours!
