The Ultimate Blog Party '09

Par-Tay Over Here!

I get so excited when I know there is a party right around the corner.

Today is no exception- I'm literally jumping for joy!

Welcome to the Mo' House. Here we are, in all of our glory.

I'm Mommy Mo (Lisa).

The other characters in this play are Daddy Mo (Anthony), Sophie (age 5), Sam (age 3), and Little Anthony (we ran out of original names that we liked- HA! age almost 6 months)

Since we have not met before, let me share a few things about myself.

1. I have been married to Daddy Mo for 10+ years. We have three children, ages 5 and under. Most days, I feel like a crazy woman just struggling to get life under control. Regardless, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
2. I love to eat and drink. Period, the end. I used to post recipes on this blog, but I am now posting recipes over here. I am always looking for new food blogs to check out, so if you have a favorite that you would like to share with me, please do. In fact, I will be doing an interview series over here in the near future and I'm looking for willing food blogger interviewees.
3. Because I love food so much and because I had a baby a few months ago, I have a few unwanted pounds lingering around. More than a few. I write for The Sisterhood of Shrinking Jeans - an awesome, wonderful blog for those of us looking to lose weight. We support, encourage, and motivate one other. If you are on your own weight loss journey and are looking for a little support, then come check us out!
4. I love to read, fiction specifically. I wish I had more time to read. I'm in between books right now, but wold love any suggestions you guys might have. I'm always looking for new authors to discover.
5. Last but not least, I love to laugh. My best laughs usually come at my own expense. I am THAT Girl. Please feel free to share your own funny moments.

We love parties and socializing and having fun. I would like to think we are experts on the subject matter.

A proper hostess always offers her guests a drink.

I'm whipping up a fresh batch just for you.

Please enjoy our backyard view while I get your drink for you.

No party would be complete without a few things- food (and that is not just any old taco, that is a shredded beef taco; recipe here), a mariachi band, and a pinata.

Would you like to dance? We love to dance around the house.

Now that the par-tay is over, it's time for a siesta (nap).

One more thing, I'm going to Blogher '09 in Chicago. Anyone else going? I'm keeping a running list of those of us making the trek. Go ahead and check out the list I have so far. If you want to be added, then let me know.
