One Year Ago Today

I was celebrating my middle child's 2nd birthday. She was giving birth to her twin babies who had died in utero. James and Jake were their names. Their mama misses them very much.

It pains me so very much to even type that.

I did not even follow Beth's blog on a regular basis one year ago. Today, it is one of the first blogs I check on every day. Beth is REAL, RAW, and HONEST with her journey through grief. Her blog posts have brought me to tears several times. Her posts have also brought me laughter, joy, hope, and sadness. Through this tragedy of hers that has played out on the blogosphere, my respect for Beth has grown ten-fold.

She is beautiful at heart, graceful, humble, and strong. Her words are powerful. I wonder if she knows that?

Beth worries that her boys will be forgotten. Beth, your boys will NOT be forgotten.

So while don't you click on over here and give Beth some love on this very difficult day for her? Why don't you give her a hug while you are at it? Or, if you are able, consider making a donation to Team James and Jake and support the March of Babies.

Once last thing, Thea from I'm a Drama Mama is giving away a $50 gift certificate and ALSO donating $1 to Team James and Jake for every comment left on her post today. Click here to do your part! All you have to do is leave a comment and Thea will make a $1 donation (out of her pocket) to Team James and Jake. Go ahead- do it now.
