Medicine Cabinet Meme

My gal pal and I would even venture to say IRL friend Elaine tagged me. I had to play along since I had nothing bloggy related in mind for Thursday. I have seen this one floating around the blogosphere and was wondering if it might one day appear at my front door and here it is!

So here are the guidelines for the M.C. Meme:
1. Take a picture of your medicine cabinet.
2. You may clean, organize, dispose of the Preparation H if you'd like.
3. Write a post describing what's in the cabinet. (favorite products, least favorite, expiration dates on old products)
4. Leave a link to said post in this comment form.
5. Tag some friends to play along if you'd like. (make sure they link back to this post)

Shall we get started?

"Oh wow. That's so exciting. Look what she has in her medicine cabinet. You can tell a lot about a girl from what she has in her medicine cabinet. I wonder where she got that......"
I know, I know, you guys are just DYING to have MY medicine cabinet, complete with Herbal Colon Cleanse (a girl's gotta be clean, right?!), many perfumes to choose from (especially all of the almost empty bottles), and wait, just wait.....who doesn't love a good Arbonne sale? And look, if you find that you have gum disease, I have just the right oral rinse for you. All those prescriptions, well, I don't really remember what they are for but most likely, pain medication from the two births I have had while we lived in this house. They need to be chunked because I never take anything stronger than Tylenol. Although the cabinet is full, I don't use but 1-2 items in here. Maybe I should throw everything away?

Moving On......

This is where I keep all the real stuff, in the cupboard underneath my sink. Most notably, my hairdryer, extras of everything (razors, saline, contacts, makeup sponges, post-natals, all the Bath and Body stuff I receive as gifts, facial cleansers, etc).

Of course, I had to share with you what I use every. single. day. It's the basics, you know: facial cleanser, deoderant, lotion, toothpaste, dental floss, tweezers (yes, tweezers. Between my unibrow and the pesky gray hairs, I am using the damn tweezers every single day) and on a good day, perfume.
Just in case you are wondering where the MEDICINES are, we keep them high up in our closest, where our kids can't reach them. See that white basket in top corner? That would be it. Nothing unusal there.

That would be it. That's some super-exciting, make your head spin, stuff, isn't it?

Would you like to play along? Play if you want, if not no biggie. There is an incentive however...$25.00 to Sephora- but the deadline is tomorrow, 1/30. If you do play along, you gotta link back to Supermommy (the hostess giving away the gift card) and this post of hers.

Your assignment, if you choose to accept it......

1. Prairie Mama

2. Somewhere Over the Rainbow

3. Casey

4. Vintage Dutch Girl

5. Whooosthatgirl

So intrigued by the colon cleanse, is that weird of me? (Don't answer that) Bold move going under the sink, that I could never ever do ;-)

Thanks for playing along.

Alright my camera finally cooperated, so I posted mine! I should put my medicine's in my closet, it would help with my cluttered bathroom I think

I use the same Cetaphil face soap as you do, but I have to say I'm not all that pleased with it. Do you like it?
